Kick-Off Pride Month with Quest Hotel and Cebu Pride Movement

Quest Hotel kicked-off the celebration of Pride Month in partnership with the Cebu Pride Movement last June 7, 2024, at the Quest Hotel Lobby.

One of the highlights was the Opening of Photo Gallery, a special exhibit that showcased notable Cebuano LGBTQIAs and their significant contributions to the community. The list included Cattski Espina and Jude Gitamondoc for music, Atty. King Anthony Perez for the Academe, Margo Frasco for the arts, Alem Garcia, Enrique San Juan for LGBT rights and health, Dexter Alazas for fashion. 

Quest Hotel’s General Manager Mia Singson-Leon delivered a heartfelt tribute to Jay Unchuan, one of the notable LGBTQIA and a prominent personality in Cebu’s music scene and a resident judge on Sinulog Idol; and was a cornerstone of the community

Inspiring messages were also shared by LoveYourself representative Ralph Tamayo, and Cebu Pride Festival representative Ramon Matthew Basabe.

The event ended with a captivating Broadway medley performance by the talented Cebuano Drag Queens, Chloe Sparkles, Vi Ponce and Vae Zha Yass.
